Natural (Not Overpriced) Cleaning Products
I’ve been meaning to do it for a while, but I finally did today; I stopped by the store after work and picked up a whole bunch of vinegar, baking soda, and rubbing alcohol so I can take my natural cleaning regime to a much larger scale. I don’t mean these “organic” and “natural” products you can buy at the store, but the pure, simple ingredients that are found in all cleaning products anyway.
I’m taking on the bathtub, the toilet, the sinks, the carpet, even the windows. My goal for the next week is to test out a bunch of different formulas I find online and report back to you all with what I felt was the best mix. I forgot the alka seltzer for the toilet (although I’m not sure how good that tip is anyway), but I’m right on track for the rest. I will post my findings here as I go.
P.S. I found a funny tip online today too about how you can sprinkle your pets with baking soda to remove odors, and it got me thinking that my dogs’ baths are a bit overdue. I don’t think I’ll try that one though, so let’s hope I get around to giving them their baths soon. :)
